Since fall 2003, consulting services have been provided to PCSD within the context of developing strategies for student education as well as inclusion, and faculty professional development at the middle school and high school through specific educational initiatives. From strategy meetings with the superintendent, principals, dean of students or faculty to diversity enlightenment sessions for middle school students, high school students, or faculty and staff, XD facilitated the advancement of this school district’s diversity initiative.
In collaboration with Mountain
Lake Public Broadcasting System (MLPBS) and the Safe Passage Coalition, and
extension of PCSD, consulting services were provided on the creation and
production of a DVD project that addresses the relationship between respectful
behavior and bullying. Through an
orchestrated effort involving youngsters aged 5 -13, personal perceptions, group
dialogue, and message driven skits were utilized within a documentary to educate
students about the hypocrisy and irrationality of bullying.

In collaboration with Dr. Eddie Moore Jr. consulting services were provided for 23 participants representing administration and faculty. Diversity workshops (Diversity Enlightenment, The N-Word, White Privilege) were utilized for their educational merits as well as a point of departure to assess and advance the level of sophistication of the participants relative to the implementation of the diversity initiative.
