Dissed-Respect: The Impact of Bullying
In
September 2005, J.W. Wiley began his role as consultant to Mountain
Lake PBS' Media Lab on the digital video production of Dissed-Respect: The
Impact of Bullying. Utilizing conversations with children ranging in age
from 5-13, educational professionals, skits, poetry, research and rap, the
dimensions of bullying, its rhyme and reason, its consequences and necessary
"actions to take" are all thoroughly engaged.
Dissed-Respect: The Impact of Bullying premiered in October 2006 on Mountain
Lake PBS and is currently being positioned for a national marketing campaign to
other PBS stations. The video was released for purchase in
January, 2007 through MLPBS.
